There may be large numbers of homeless children in one area while a neighboring region may not have any children awaiting adoption. The bill also contains a provision for coordination with similar programs in foreign countries. thereby facilitating the adoption of foreign born children. This legislation is a necessary step in the direction of providing better care for our homeless children. It would aid in the placement of additional thousands of children into the proper loving atmosphere of a home.
