Speech #930025802

In their letter. addressed to the U.S. Congress. they speak of the life of the Soviet Jew. filled with material and spiritual difficulties. However. they do not pursue this line because theythe difficultieswill never be fully understood in the West. Once a year. the Soviet Jew can reapply for an exit visa. never knowing when the application will be accepted. but life goes on. children go on growing. In order to live such a life and not lose heart or dispairsican unlimited belief in success is necessary. One thing that does convince them to continue this strong belief is American and world public opinion.
