Mr. President. I introduce these two amendments on behalf of my colleague. Mr. GURNEY. and myself. They simply make clear in the bill that it would not detract from the right to benefits of Cuban refugees. of which 12.000 reside in Florida. They are receiving benefits presently under the existing system. but there has been some question as to whether. under this bill. they would be eligible. These amendments would make clear that they are eligible. The staffs of the distinguished chairman and the ranking minority member of the committee have seen these amendments. If there is no objection. I should like to have them agreed to.
