Mr. President. on behalf of the distinguished ranking minority member of the Committee on Labor and Public Welfare. the Senator from New York . and myself. I am offering a package of amendments to S. 3716. which simply add to the bill four additional Senatepassed Public Health Service legislative extensions. These four measures are migrant health. medical libraries. public health training. and emergency health personnel. We are amending the committees bill in this respect. Mr. President. simply to expedite the passage of these vital health programs in this Congress. Through this amendment we intend to place each of these programs before a HouseSenate conference committee within the next week.
