The cause of Soviet Jewry is a just one. The right to emigrate is an international and humanitarian right that transgressed once against one group of people is a transgression multifold against all the people of the world. No ransom. no harassment. no intimidation should be permitted to snuff out this right. We here in America cannot stand idly by while the Soviet Union makes criminals of the Jews in their country and then puts a price on their head.
