The second. which occurred only this morning in Munich. was the murder of two members of the Israeli Olympic team and the kidnaping of 14 others by a group of Arab guerrillas. This act can only be described as the work of mindless and inhumane fanatics. and our horror at it is heightened by the fact that it intrudes upon the spirit of international cooperation which surrounds and pervades the Olympic Games.
