Ga.. has won international recognition for outstanding contributions in the fields of education. charity. and civic improvement. The organizations list of national and international contributions is farreaching and includes such programs as relief of Florida hurricane victims. contributions for fatherless children of refugees through the Near East relief. contributions to hospitals and health centers in Greece. national scholarships to worthy students. to name but a few. In addition. local chapters have continued activities within the community in the areas of education and civic improvement. The objectives of the Order of Ahepa include instruction of its members in the tenets and fundamental principles of government and recognition of the privileges of citizenship. encouragement of interest and participation in the political. civic and social life of the community. and the promotion of good fellowship.
