Steeped in the tradition of the Greek polls. the AHEPA promotes the profound ideals of Hellenic culture in encouraging its members to become involved in community affairs and to actively participate in the political. civic. social. and commercial fields of human endeavor. In addition to its encouragement of civil involvement. the AHEPA chapters also assist noncitizens in attaining full citizenship while at the same time educating them in the responsibilities and obligations concomitant with American citizenship.
