I am not going to reargue the matter here. I think it might be helpful. however. at this point to put in the RECORD certain documents that have come to my attention. I have a telegram from the Association of Immigration and Nationality Lawyers. a 600member nationwide bar association. vigorously opposing this section. I also have a letter to the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee from the Acting Attorney General of the United States. dated April 12. vigorously opposing the measure and setting out the reasons for this. I also have a letter to the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee from the Assistant Secretary for Manpower of the Department of Labor.
