Speech #920224522

I found it intolerable to continue to render allegiance to a country which supplied bullets for the purpose of killing my brothersthe citizens of Israel. Mr. Epelman. a mathematician at an Israeli university. told me: I can no longer work at my profession. I am a fighter for the freedom of my wife and daughter. They are all I live for. I also was visited by Vitall Svechinski and Joseph Yankelevich. as they delivered a message from 46 Soviet Jews who are seeking to emigrate. In an unsuccessful attempt to send the same message to President Nixon on Monday. May 15. the 46 detainees delivered the cable to the Central Telegraph Office in Moscow.
