Mr. Speaker. just recently I asked the Justice Department and the Department of State about the prospects of deporting one Mr. Eqbal Ahmad. a Pakistani immigrant who made some threatening remarks against the United States in the event the Vietnam war did not end in accord with his time schedule. He demonstrated this treachery in my congressional district. Just recently an editorial appeared in the April 15. 1972. issue of the Patriot. a prominent daily newspaper in Pennsylvania. Because it has application to the concern I have evidenced in this case. I submit it to the RECORD and commend it to the attention of my colleagues.
