The demography and ecology experts have been telling us for years of the dangers of overpopulation and of the steady movement toward that end. Our present unemployment rate approaches 6 percent and has been hovering around that figure now for about 3 years. Our Nation has manifold problems that are inherent in overpopulation and underemployment. It just does not make sense at this time to exacerbate these problems by now increasing the number of immigrants to be permitted entry to our Nation. This is just another area in which we need to give more attention to our countrys problems. rather than solving those of other countries.
