Pakistan has much to gain from a Westernoriented feeling in the world as to peace and security and democracy and development as against the dictatorships which took sides in this thing. both Mainland China and the Soviet Union. The Chinese are now looking for another chance to have their inning. which promises no good for either Pakistan or India. So I think that our best role. as has been developed by both colleagues. is to stick to substantial social and economic welfare. the succor of the refugees. and repairing the wounds of war with constructive development in both countries economically. including the constructive development of Pakistan in a democratic direction. In no case should we get militarily involved.
