Mr. Chairman. it took so many years to build this place. It took so many immigrants to come here and make it what it is. It took so many of their sons and daughters and their grandsons and granddaughters of these immigrants not only to maintain what was handed to them. but to improve upon it. I do not take any pleasure in oeing a Member of this body and know it is to go down in history as the body of Congress that neglected to read the signs that are so plain on the horizon. that -this Nation is dying. It is dying.
