The community was enriched by the culture and customs of people from throughout the world who wove their special life style into the rich tapestry. Those industrious and resourceful workers and their families who came to this city to begin a new lifedrawn as by a magnet from every European nationapplied their skills and hearts to building a uniquely versatile and cosmopolitan community which now proudly celebrates its 100th anniversary.
