In any event. the principle is clear. or is it? Let me illustrate: Broadcasters may tell truths about Vietnam. the Pentagon. migrant worker camps. ghettos. the White House. unless the truths are embarrassing to respectively. the President. the Secretary of Defense. corporate farmers. administration economists charged with responsibility for producing rosy predictions. and the Republican National Committee.
