Inc. This Hebrew association is nonprofit and was formed in New York on March 12. 1921. It shortly began to act as a welcoming and adjustment group for newly arrived immigrants. who so often in the following years came as victims of the worst kind of persecution. Innumerable American citizens today made their first difficult transition from immigrant to useful citizen because of this society. The First Wloszczower Society acted as a social brotherhood. extending financial aid to the needy. supporting numerous charities. and standing by the new arrivals in times of stress and tragedy. They did everything from help in birthing the living to burying the dead.
