Soviet justice will continue to be a travesty. Mr. President. the brutal and repressive actions by their government against Soviet Jews is a logical outgrowth of the development of a system which can tolerate neither dissent nor the truth. And the truth today is that the Soviet "workers paradise" has become a living hell for those Jews who have lawfully expressed their desire to emigrate to Israel. The recent arrests. and crude vilification of Jews in Russia. speaks louder than the hypocritical statements of official Soviet spokesmen. When Zionism is brazenly compared to nazism. then the Soviet Union is not deluding anyone as to its true motives.
