I wish to advise the House that on Thursday. May 27. 1971. Subcommittee No. 1 on Immigration and Nationality. Committee on the Judiciary. will continue hearings on revision of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Testimony will be received from the Honorable Raymond F. Farrell. Commissioner of the Immigration and Naturalization Service of the Department of Justice who also appeared as a witness before the committee on May 5. 1971. The hearings will begin at 10 a.m. in room 2237. Rayburn House Office Building. The -purpose of the hearing is to review general enforcement of the immigration laws and to analyze the problems that have developed in the administration of the law. Further hearings will be announced at a future date.
