In addition to the close friendship which we have developed during this period. I have been particularly impressed by Congressman FEIGHANS attention to our complex and most sensitive immigration laws. Mr. Speaker. it required a high degree of courage to withstand the attacks which were leveled at the time of the enactment of the Immigration and Nationality Act Amendments of 1965.
