The President must forcefully exercise his responsibility to protect U.S. citizens wherever they are. The United States should make clear that unless the Arab governments compel the immediate release of the hostages without harm that all U.S. aid to the U.N. Palestine Refugee Agency will be cut off. The United States is currently contributing approximately 70 percent of the funds going to the Arab refugee camps now under the control of terrorist organizations. Further. the U.S. Government should make clear that unless Arab governments compel the immediate release of the hostages without harm. all U.S. air carriers will be required to suspend service to and from Arab States.
