The first Cubans hired there were very kind individuals. and appeared most deserving and hard working. To the credit of the ethnic group they are loyal to their kind. but unfortunately this has caused an employment squeeze out of American citizens. We hear much about the black citizen being pushed out by this influx. but believe me it applies to both black and white. In contrast to the first immigrants the later freedom flight employees appear contemptuous and derisive of the American citizen. Following are some personal observations as to the effect on the area and the nation by this airlift: 1. Overload of welfare clinic and bed space in county hospital. 2.
