American Indians coming into the cities. in addition to the regular problems of the ruraltourban migrantsadjusting to a different kind of life style and to the special environment of the urban areabecause of difference in background. in culture. in language. and in skin color. have particular inhibitions against assimilation. American Indians in this country ought to have the right to remain different and still be entitled to all the opportunities afforded our people in this country. They do have that right.
