We must prevent this future problem. That is what OEO programs are attempting to do. We are providing schooling for the young people and skill training for their parents. We are providing special housing programs which will provide permanent residences for migrant families who are being removed from the migrant system with permanent jobs. Young children of migrant parents are being taken from locked cars. tiny rooms. and the care of brothers and sisters barely their senior and placed in daycare centers. There they are acquiring the basic education which will later be used to acquire and hold permanent positions. These programs.
