The Caroline Institute referred to Luria. Delbrueck. and Hershey as the three leading figures of bacteriophage research and expressed deep gratitude for their work. Mr. Speaker. the Congress. by making a major revision of our immigration law in 1965. has made it possible for our country and our people to benefit from the outstanding contributions of many more great men like Professor Luria. I take this opportunity to express my appreciation for the virus research which has taken place as a result of the efforts of Nobel Prize winners Luria. Delbrueck. and Hershey. and to congratulate them on meriting this high honor.
