Speech #910057314

Mr. President. many waves of immigrants have come to the United States of America to enjoy the benefits of the great freedoms available to everyone in this Nation. Yet no group of immigrants has ever enjoyed a greater success story in their new home than our Cuban citizens. Too little is heard of Floridas refugee colony of Cubans in regards to the contribution they have made to my State. and consequently. our Nation. No one has ever publically congratulated the Cuban community for being the most energetic. progressive. and prosperous 6migr6 group in history. At this time I would like to tell of the accomplishments of these people. and offer my sincerest regards for their efforts.
