The priest remarked sadly: The group who destroyed the flag was not part of our group. We dont agree with that philosophy. In this case I doubt that the plight of migrant farmworkers was ever called to public attention. but was lost in the antics and hoopla mounted by unthinking people who apparently got bored with their own meeting and decided to take over another one. I fear that this is an instance where the cause of justice took a back seat to the cause of publicity. Assuredly there is cause for wrath among people who have suffered long and endured much.
