Civilization cries out against this return to the barbarity of the German Nazis by the Government of Iraq. But we must do more than merely cry out. We must embark on an action plan to save the survivors. The remaining estimated 2.500 Jews in Iraq are all under virtual house arrest. They face restrictions modeled after the Nazi Nurnberg laws. They may not emigrate from the -country. Scores are in jail. Many are now facing phony trials. such as the socalled trials conducted by the Gestapo judges of Nazi Germany.
