In fact. during my tenure of office. I have assisted His Excellency on a number of occasions. One time that I clearly recall was when His Excellency was interested in obtaining the admission of an Order of European nuns to teach in the Catholic schools in his diocese under the provisions of the Immigration and Naturalization Act. I was able to obtain the admission of these nuns under that section of the act which provides for the admission of foreign nationals who possess special skills. Of course. everyone is aware of the outstanding teaching ability that nuns possess so the special skill requirements are more than satisfied.
