Their health care is inadequate. and in many cases. they are unable to qualify for normal community public health programs since they travel about for many months of the year. I particularly want to extend my appreciation to the Hays County program which has given marked leadership in this field. I have received an excellent report from Mr. James Burwell on the program there. and would like also to extend my appreciation to Dr. B. M. Primer. Sr.. the San MarcosHays County Migrant Project Director. Mr. Chairman. the bill before us continues the special program of medical assistance to the migratory agricultural worker. and earmarks a total of $21 million over the next 2 years.
