Ortiz which had been reported from the Committee on the Judiciary. with an amendment in line 6. after the word "of" strike out "February 18. 1963" and insert "February 8. 1963.". so as to make the bill read: S. 3083 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That for the purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Doctor Juan. M. Ortiz shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of February 8. 1963.
