We must remember that the 800 Israeli soldiers killed in action in the 6day war is equivalent to 80.000 Americans dying in a 6day period. These are the stakes we are talking about. and thus it is in our interest to insure that Israels defenses are capable of deterring aggression by the Russian supplied and trained Arab nations.
