Speaker. we must condemn this latest display of antiSemitism in Poland and we must also pity those who perpetuate this most vile of practices. for it clearly demonstrates that when they resort to this despicable exercise in ignorance. they must have exhausted all other forms of logical action. For those who would prefer to come to the United States. I introduced a bill on April 3 which would admit such refugees from Poland to the United States. above existing immigration quotas. Enactment of this bill by the Congress and its approval by the President of the United States. will demonstrate to the world. once again. that the United States will forever keep open its shores for refugees from government oppression and bigotry.
