Kings death reached me last evening. Yet now I realize that there should have been no shock. I should not have been incredulous. Only one hatefilled man is required to snuff out the life of a dozen or more good men. And not just Memphis. but New York. San Francisco. Detroit. Newark. Selma. Little Rock. Baltimore. Washington. and cities stretched across the length and breadth of this land of ours. are filled with countless numbers of hatefilled people. They hate Catholics and Jews. Negroes and Indians. the Italian immigrant and the Irish. They hate the French and the Communists. They hate and hate and hate.
