SANCHEZ The Senate proceeded to consider the bill for the relief of Dr. Jose R. Sanchez. which had been reported from the Committee on the Judiciary. with an amendment. in line 6. after the word "of" strike out "September 21. 1961" and insert "September 21. 1962.". so as to make the bill read: S. 2382 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of American in Congress assembled. That. for the purposes of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Doctor Jose R. Sanchez shall be held and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence as of September 21. 1962.
