Mr. President. I join my colleagues in welcoming to Washington some 10.000 delegates to the annual convention of AHEPA. the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association. Since AHEPA was founded in 1922 to help Greek immigrants find jobs and become adjusted to life in a new country. its membership has grown to 46.000. There are chapters in 49 States. The world is vividly aware of the contributions Greece has made in human ideals. institutions and traditions. So it has been with the thousands of Greeks who chose to make their homes in America. Mr. President. I salute AHEPA and applaud its continuing growth and contributions to our Nation.
