The entire labor movement and the rest of the Nation are indebted to this imaginative man for his constant devotion to the highest interests of the American workingman. Certainly we hope for his continued counsel in the years ahead. David Dubinksy passes on to his successors a great tradition and a great responsibility. Knowing them as I do. I am sure they will prove worthy of it. David Dubinskys life story is also an inspiration to all Americans in that he has risen from immigrant boy to an outstanding national figure.
