Speaker. Cuba is not the paradise under communism that Fidel Castro promised. or else so many people would not want to seek freedom In this land. The democracy of America was expressed for all to see when President Johnson announced that this country would offer sanctuary to refugees from that country. But it was positive action based on faith. The action is being praised editorially by countless newspapers. such as the Chicago SunTimes. which said the fact that so many Cubans want to leave their homeland "should not be lost on Latin America and other nations of the world." This editorial is extremely timely. and I insert it in the RECORD.
