We are to have a sugar bill. which Is being considered by the Finance Committee. next week. if the other body should dispose of it. I have received numerous calls from those who represent sugar interests in other countries with reference to the bill. I have had no inquiries with respect to the Ervin proposal. Perhaps there could be a difference of 10.000 or 20.000 in the figure. but if the good Lord and the people of Kentucky permit me to be in this body. say. 10 years from now. and there were a need to place restrictions in immigration at that time. I am sure we would have many calls.
