Mr. Chairman. I rise in support of the bill H.R. 2580. and to say a word of commendation for the outstanding work of the members of the Immigration Subcommittee of the Judiciary Committee and. particularly for the chairman of the subcommittee. the gentleman from Ohio and the gentleman from West Virginia . I also wish to say during the time I have been in Congress I have found that the members of this subcommittee have been very much Interested in the problems that immigrants have faced. In every Instance they have tried as best they could to eliminate inequities. This is an area full of technical problems.
