I will not try to take the time to review It. but I would commend it to every Member or at least to listen to the gentlemans testimony as they present this particular bill. Some of us. Mr. Speaker. like myself as an example. find ourselves in a rather peculiar position here today. Two years ago in the 88th Congress an immigration bill was offered which I read and studied and which I thought was Very bad legislation. I so informed my organizations. people. and constituency. and I opposed that legislation. The bill introduced originally in this particular Congress. the administration bill as it is so called. was in my opinion likewise as bad as the bill which was introduced in the last Congress.
