Duberstein. has retired as a referee in bankruptcy after more than 20 years of devoted service. During that time he sat in judgment in more than 5.000 bankruptcy cases arising in the eastern district of New York under the Jurisdiction of the U.S. district court for that district. Referee Duberstein was born on Manhattans Lower East Side in 1889. the son of newly arrived immigrants.
