Kernberg which had been reported from the Committee on the Judiciary with an amendment in line 4. after the word "since". to strike out "his lawful admission for permanent residence on October 25. 1963" and insert "August 16. 1959.". so as to make the bill read: Be it enacted by the Senate and House o Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the periods of time Doctor Otto F. Kernberg has resided in the United States since August 16. 1959. shall be held and considered to meet the residence and physical presence requirements of section 316 of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
