Mr. Speaker. many Members have inquired of me concerning the progress being made by the Subcommittee on Immigration and Nationality on private bills which they have introduced. I am sure other Members who have introduced private bills are similarly interested. Early in January. I requested the counsel assigned to the subcommittee by the gentleman from New York [Mr. CELLERI to prepare a list of the bills ready for consideration. together with a summary of the individual case involved and to present this material to me as chairman of the subcommittee. Mr. Cline. the counsel assigned. has not yet met this request.
