The real truth of this situation is easily available to anyone who troubles to investigate. and was shown pictorially on television by a wellknown commentator in Los Angeles last Tuesday night. The fact is that large numbers of Mexican workers with green cards have been crossing the border daily to work in the Imperial Valley fields. Approximately 8.000 of these workers have been crossing the border daily. an increase of more than 50 percent since the first of the year. The present situation in California seems to me frankly a prelude to disaster.
