H.R. 6242. providing for the registration of contractors of migrant agricultural workers. will cover more than 8.000 crew leaders who recruit migratory farm laborers for interstate employment. In the 87th Congress I introduced in the House. and Senator HARRISON WILLIAMS of New Jersey introduced in the other body. a package of bills designed to protect the migrant laborer and provide essential assistance for migrants and their families. The bill before us today is identical in all major respects to my bill. H.R. 4905.
