I have always been proud of the fact that Norwegian Constitution Day happens to fall next to my own natal day. In fact. I feel it almost makes me a Norwegian in spirit. I have always admired the Norwegian people. Many have emigrated from Norway to take their place in our Nation and to become prominent in the arts. in industry. and in Governmentindeed throughout the Nation. If I may speak parochially we rate very highly Norwegians who live in the State of New York. I know of the deep interest which the Senator from Minnesota has always taken in the Norwegian people.
