What has been done with reference to that staff? What has the gentleman from Ohio been doing all these months if these charges are true? Now he sits as chairman of the Committee on Immigration and he sat as a member of that committee for a great many years on all of these cases which might be the subject of charges leveled by these irresponsible persons who hide behind a barricade or a thin veneer of veracity by speaking of innuendoes and rumnors. all of which hold this Chamber and the other Chamber in disrepute. He was present. and members of the State Department and members of the Department of Justice were also present in executive session of that committee and in open hearings of that committee. They should have found out what was happening.
