Mr. Speaker. on March 25. Americans of Byelorussian descent and Byelorussian emigrants who now live in America and other free nations of the world. will observe the 46th anniversary of the securing and proclaiming of national and state independence by the Byelorussian people. In these days of appeasement. of accommodation. of "deals" and general kowtowing by our Government to the Communists. it is fortunate that an event such as this comes along. It should shock us into recalling just what communism is. It should shock our leaders who are forgetting the evils of communism and acting as if the Soviet Union is a welltrained bear.
