Mr. Speaker. under leave to extend my remarks in the RECORD. I am pleased to include my testimony before the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration. Monday. January 13. 1964. My statement follows: I welcome. indeed. the privilege of appearing before you and having this opportunity to talk on our immigration policy. I appreciate fully the difficult task undertaken by you. a like task which the House committee will undertake soon. I propose to address myself to Senator HARTS bill. S. 1932. which is identical to the bill I introduced in the House. H.R. 7700. a proposal submitted to the Congress in a special message by the late President Kennedy and supported by President Johnson in his state of the Union message.
